Rodrigo Esteva & Mirah Moriarty are the founding directors of DANCE MONKS, an internationally traveled company newly based in the Hudson Valley from the San Francisco Bay Area. They have taught and performed throughout the United States, Mexico, Canada and abroad, including locally with the Vanaver Caravan. They have performed and taught as a duet and with other renownedcompanies including at The Joyce Theater NY, The Kennedy Center DC, Lincoln Center Out-of doors Festival NY, Middlebury College, UC Berkeley, amongnumerous others. They have studied with extensively (for over 15 years) with renowned teachers in the fields of dance, yoga and the healing arts. They are both Nationally certified yoga teachers and Rodrigo is a Shiatsu/ acupressure therapist. They are the parents of a beautiful, eight year old boy.
