Mary Guip, RYT 500, RN

As an experienced Yoga Instructor and Registered Nurse, Mary combines her knowledge of healthcare and classic Hatha Yoga to benefit others as we work toward harmony in the physical body so that we may all reach our true potential.

She is a graduate of the "Life of a Yogi 500 Hour Teacher Training" under the guidance of the esteemed Sri Dharma Mittra.  She earned her certification to teach his four levels known as Shiva Namaskara Vinyasa.  Each progressive level allows us to develop strength and flexibility with a steady breath.  The postures are held longer allowing the coordination of the mind- body connection to deepen.

She is delighted to share Dharma Yoga and tries to bring her teacher's grace, care, and heart to all her classes.

The practice of Yoga itself is the real teacher.  And you are your own guru.  The light with in is the same in all beings.  The only difference is one's level of receptivity.  "Be receptive."

Mary continues to be a dedicated student attending classes regularly at the Dharma Yoga Center in New York City.
